In the intensive residential
program, patients live in
gender-specific apartments on the
Addiction Recovery Resources campus.
Most have two or three house-mates.
This residential community is
supervised by the clinical staff and
is itself a primary treatment
modality.
A psychiatric evaluation is
conducted as part of the admission
process, and psychiatric follow-up
is prescribed if indicated. A
medical exam is requested if
indicated, or if not performed at
the referring facility.
Participation in Alcoholics
Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous,
spiritual life groups and physical
exercise/recreational groups are
part of the program. Family
participation is expected, and an
intensive family program is
provided. All patients participate
in day and evening treatment
programs, which offer a full range
of education, group therapy, and
orientation to AA/NA, with
multidisciplinary supervision and
treatment planning.
Program Content: The program is
divided into two phases: education
and application. During the first
phase, treatment is focused on
integration into the recovering
community, reintroduction to basic
life skills, and identification of
self as having a disease. The
patient transitions into Application
where regular work, school, or a
volunteer activity is mandatory. Our
goal is to provide people who have
the disease of addiction the tools
of recovery and return them to
productive citizenship. Our
aftercare program offers continuing
care for as long as a year for
graduates who want to continue
working on more advanced issues.
The therapeutic community, the
professional staff and the patient
collaborate to develop the specifics
of the aftercare plan.
Our mission is to provide cost
effective treatment for an
intermediate to long time to those
who need this level of structure.
Our target population is persons who
used to or still do have a
significant work history (or school
history) and require support to
return to work. The program is
appropriate for professionals,
management level employees, self
employed persons and others with a
solid work history.
Most insurance pays for this level
of treatment for those who meet
criteria
Payment arrangements can be made for
candidates with a good work history
Pricing does not include medical and
laboratory fees.
